The First Asian Open International Taekwondo Championship took place on September 12, 13, and 14 at the Sports Authority of Telangana Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Apart from India, various countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia participated in it, with approximately 900 students taking part, making it a huge success.

The LIMA team’s performance was outstanding, and they made a mark at the championship. LIMA team’s outstanding performance was under the guidance of their Head Coach, Mr. Puneet Sharma, and the collaborative efforts of other coaches like Abhishek Gambhir and Chinmay Sharma, which enabled India to win so many medals in this competition.
Many people praised their efforts, and upon their return to Delhi, they were warmly welcomed at the airport. It was great to see that the hard work of their students paid off. All credit goes to the outstanding fights and unwavering commitment of the players.
